Clara Thomas

a long time resident of Vestavia, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2005, at the age of 76. A member of Shades Mountain Baptist Church, she was known for her servanthood and for spoiling grandchildren. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her son, John Thomas; her daughter, Pat Boutener (Raymond); a grandson, Christopher Feltner, all of Vestavia; and a sister, Christine Joiner (Hubert) of Shelby. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2005, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
