Christine Broughton

Christine T.  Broughton, a resident of Bessemer AL, passed away on June 17, 2022 at the age of 97.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lessie Taylor; husband, George Broughton; daughter, Geraldine Lofton; grandson, Keith Lofton; sister, Hastine Chandler; brothers, Amon Taylor and Vanus Taylor.  She is survived by her son, George (Gail) Broughton Jr, grandson, Trey Broughton, son-in-law, Danny Lofton; sisters, Eulene Cargile; Jean Wilburn; Sue (James) White ; Marie Corsentino; brother-in-law, Pete Chandler and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral service will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, 2701 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover AL 35244 on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 10:00 am in the Chapel.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
