Charles Johnson

Charles Vaughn Johnson (May 16, 1926 – July 13, 2019) had a rich life, blessed with 93 years of love and happiness. He was a veteran of both WWII and Korea, a supportive and involved father, and a deacon in his church. His career with AlaGasCo spanned 40 years; in Winter he ensured no one went cold whether they could pay, or not.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Beulah Johnson; his 4 children, Roland Johnson (Yolanda) of San Diego, CA, Sharon Orr of Pflugerville, TX, Donna Eyles of Padre Island, TX, and Aaron Johnson (Kelley) of Calera, AL; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandsons.
The family will receive friends from 2-3, Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3:00 in the chapel.
