Charleen Meade, 90, passed away on June 6, 2026, at her home in Hoover, Alabama 

Charleen is survived by her son Craig Meade and long time family friend Amy Jo Schamens and neighbors and friends. Charleen is preceded in death by John Bollinger - father, Aileen Bollinger - mother.

The service for Charleen Meade will be held on Saturday, at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens South; Visitation: Saturday, at 11:00 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial: Jefferson Memorial Gardens South, Hoover, Alabama.

Memorial donations can be made in Charleen's name to, Life Bridges in Cleveland TN where Craig resides.  Charleen Meade lived for her son Craig and she loved him ferociously and supported him in everything he needed. Spending time with Craig is what gave her the most joy in life. She cooked for Craig and enjoyed taking care of  him and taking rides with him,she loved talking on the phone with Craig singing songs and praying for him. She only wanted the best for Craig and worked tirelessly to keep him safe and happy.
