Cecil Erwin

of Alabaster, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at the age of 78. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Alabaster First United Methodist Church. Mr. Erwin was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Marshall Erwin and Pearl Landers Erwin and his five siblings. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris Edwards Erwin; a brother, Joseph Ray Erwin; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Rev. Gordon McKinney and Kip Laxson officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
