Carol Turner

of Vestavia, passed away on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the age of 64. She was a long-time elementary school teacher and a loving wife, mother and "Mimi". J.O.Y. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dan Turner, Sr.; a son, Daniel Turner, Jr. (Candice); a daughter, Caroline Woods (Jeremy); 4 grandchildren, Allison and Amelia Turner, and Jacob and Rebecca Woods; 2 brothers, William May and James May (Annette Blum); and 2 sisters, Ruth Jones (Russell) and Linda Stone (Donn). The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 10, 2008, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church with a Memorial Prayer Service at 7 p.m., Father John McDonald officiating. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, February 11, 2008, at 10 a.m. at the church with Father Ray Dunmire officiating.
