Carl Dorwaldt

Mr. Carl Dorwaldt, of Mission Viejo, CA, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014, at the age of 83. He was a loving father and grandfather. Born in Illinois, where he worked and raised his family in Elgin before moving to Southern CA, where he spent 25 years. He spent the last year in Birmingham to be near his son and his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife, of 60 years, Joyce and a daughter, Jayne.
He is survived by his son, Jim Dorwaldt (Kathy), granddaughter, Erica Dorwaldt, grandson, Jack Dorwaldt, all of Birmingham, step grandson, Chad Willard (Beth), step great grandchildren, Ashton and Tiffany Willard, all of Virginia, brother, Don Dorwaldt and sister, Jean Allen (Gary), both of Illinois.
