Bettye Lovell

Bettye Kraft Lovell of Hayden AL passed away on October 17, 2022 at the age of 95. Daughter, wife, mother, sister, Mimi, best friend. These are a few of the names that Bettye was called throughout her life. She was born on November 13, 1926 in Birmingham, AL to Frederick E. Kraft and Grace Gibson Kraft. She was married to Billy E. Lovell for 68 years.
She was a member of the church of Christ for 62 years including the church in West End, Hoover, Riverchase, Morris and lastly,  North Jefferson church of Christ for the past 6 years.
She was a dedicated and hard worker. She worked for Dr.'s Collier, Childs and Lowman for over 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, ceramics, arts and crafts, painting and traveling.
She was friendly to everyone and always had a patient and  sympathetic ear. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Grace Kraft, her son Michael E. Lovell and her husband Billy E. Lovell.

She is survived by her children, Diane Perrin (Roger), Dene' Lemmer (Robert), seven grandchildren; Christie Perrin Addaway (Todd), Vanessa L. Krohn, Cortney P. Marks, Brooke Perrin, Nathan S. Lemmer (Megan), Jason M. Lovell and Alex Lovell (Kristi) along with 10 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Jefferson Memorial Gardens on Friday October 21, 2022 at 2:00 with visitation at 1:00.

She was truly loved and will be sorely missed.
