Betty Mahan

Betty Mahan passed away on June 18, 2022 at the age of 92. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Lloyd Mahan, and a grandchild, Sima Mahan Atkinson.

She is survived by her companion, Ronald Mitchell; her children, Lloyd Stephen Mahan (Diana), Robin Elizabeth Mahan Vickers (Mike) and Connie Mahan Scott (Dr. Keith); grandchildren, Reagan Vickers, Ashley Vickers Shaw, Alexander Scott, Samuel Scott and Lidia Scott; great grandchildren, Chase Atkinson, Lacey Atkinson, Abigail Shaw and Addison Shaw; and a honorary daughter, Martha McCullers.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Charles Teague officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
