Betty Krotzer

Betty F. Krotzer, of Vestavia, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at the age of 86.  She was a long time church secretary for the Shades Mountain Baptist Church.  Betty enjoyed sewing and was an active member of the Birmingham Quilt Guild.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Roy Krotzer, and her daughter, Donna Wilkinson.  She is survived by her daughter, Debra Krotzer; her son, Steve Krotzer (Mary Jane); four grandchildren, Chris Hornbuckle, Charles Hornbuckle, Caryn Smith (Caston), and Kate Wilkinson; son-in-law, Tommy Wilkinson; brother, Gene Ferguson; and sister, Mary Joyce Andrews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11, Monday, July 2, 2018, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover.  The family will participate in a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
