Barbara Merle (Hall) Grill was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, August 18th, 2026. She was born January 8th, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama to Murl and Patty Hall. She is a graduate of Ensley School and retired from UAB in 2008 where she had worked for 28 years as Program Coordinator for the Department of Medicine. Barbara was a talented artist and enjoyed painting in oil and acrylic. She was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church where she also sang in the choir. Barbara is survived by her husband of 60 years, Terry. She leaves behind two sons, Rodney Grill (Vanessa) and Chad Grill (Angie), and two grandchildren Brianna Grill and Alex Grill. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be sent to the Briarwood Church Missions Fund.
