Austin Bush, Jr

January 15, 1927 — January 3, 2018

Austin Bush, Jr., of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at the age of 90. He was a mechanical engineer employed by Anderson Electric and Southern Research. Mr. Bush served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Elkins Bush. He is survived by his son, Dale Bush (Brenda); 2 daughters, Lisa Motlow (Dudley) and Karen Bush; 2 grandchildren, Lindsey and Austin Motlow; and a great grandchild, Elijah Motlow.

Funeral service will be 3:00 Friday, January 5, 2018, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
