Arthur Gentry, Jr.
November 3, 1922 — July 11, 2018
Arthur W. Gentry, Jr., of Bessemer, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the age of 95. He was a very faithful member of Arnolds Chapel United Methodist Church and a 32 degree Mason.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Jettye Langston Gentry. He is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Gentry, Judy Gentry Hudson, and Terry Gentry Hamrick (Rick); 5 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2, Friday, July 13, 2018, at Arnolds Chapel United Methodist Church. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 in the cemetery adjacent the church, Rev. Audie Hodges officiating.
