Arin Cobb

Our sweet love child Arin left us for her real home in heaven on Monday, Oct. 24, 2022. She was the beloved daughter of Mike and Cindy Cobb and we miss her dearly. Arin was born in Birmingham, AL on March 2, 1982. She is survived by her dad Mike and her momma Cindy of Helena, AL, her half-brother Jason Myrick of Birmingham, AL and maternal grandmother Betty Jane Anderson of Destin, FL.

As a child and adolescent teen, Arin enjoyed any and all sports and was an honor student throughout the Thompson school system in Alabaster, AL eventually graduating from Thompson High School in 2000. Arin greatly enjoyed all of her friends she made through school and her church at Alabaster United Methodist Church and later on at Westwood Baptist Church also in Alabaster. She played on back-to-back state championship softball teams at Thompson in 1998 and 1999 and was also named to the first team 6A all-state softball team in 1999. She went on to attend Auburn University on a softball scholarship and was named to the Southeastern Conference Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for 2001-2002.

Most recently, she attended Church of the Highlands in Irondale, AL.

Arin loved her family with all her heart and soul, had an immensely generous spirit and loved to help those in need of a helping hand or an encouraging word. The fingerprints of her spirit live on in all who ever knew her.

There are no words to describe the heartbreak and disbelief we all feel with the thought of Arin not being physically in our lives, but she will never be forgotten and lives on in our hearts forever. We love you darling and anxiously look forward to seeing you again soon!
