With hearts full of love and unimaginable sorrow, we announce the passing of our precious baby girl, Amora. Though her time on earth was brief, she filled our lives with a love deeper than words could ever express.
Amora Florence Lawson was born on February 23, 2026, alongside her twin sister, Amelia, who continues to fight with strength, resilience, and grace. Amora’s life, though short, was a beautiful reminder of how powerful and pure love can be. She will forever be a part of us, carried in every heartbeat and every memory.
She is deeply loved by her parents, Diamond and Willie Lawson II, and will always be cherished by her sister, Amelia.
Amora is lovingly remembered by her grandparents, Bianca, Danielle, Kenny McShan, Willie and Annetta Lawson, along with a family who already misses her more than words can say. Though we do not understand why her time was so brief, Surrounded by warmth and devotion, she gently passed from her parents’ arms into the arms of the Lord. Amora’s life was filled with immeasurable love. It is a comfort to know that Amora’s spirit lives on, watching over her sister and guiding her with love. Amora, you are, and will forever be our angel, our light, and our forever love.
A service to honor Amora’s life will be held at Currie Jefferson Memorial at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 25,2026.
“Two hearts came into this world together, one to stay, one to watch from above. Forever twins, forever sisters, forever joined, and forever loved.”
A Prayer for Our Sweet girl Amora
Lord,
We come to You today and days on with hearts that feel both full and shattered, not understanding why.
But even in this pain, we thank You for Amora, for her tiny hands, for her pretty toes, her quiet strength, and for the love she placed in our hearts We thank You for those precious moments You gave us to know her, and to love her. Though few, Those moments will live in us for the rest of our lives. Lord, we ask that you hold our baby girl closer than we ever could. When we ache to hear her cry, to feel her breathing against us, to see her smile be the one who comforts her in our place. Rock her when we cannot, sing to her when our voices fall silent, and let her feel the endless love we still have for her. Tell her, her mommy and daddy didn’t want to let her go and that we’re missing her every second. Lord, when we placed her in Your hands, that day a piece of our hearts went with her. Keep that piece safe. And please keep her safe, wrapped her in Your peace, where there is no pain, only light, and happiness.
Watch over her sister, Amelia. As she fights here on earth, let her never feel alone.
We pray and ask that Amora be the whisper in her spirit, the strength in her body, the unseen hand holding hers when we cannot. Let Amora be near her in every breath, every heartbeat, and every quiet moment. Keep them connected in a way only heaven understands.
And Lord, when the weight of this loss feels too heavy… when the silence feels too loud,
when our hearts break all over again, remind us that she is not lost— she is just being held by You until we can hold her again. Remind us that love like this never ends. That we are still her parents, and she is still our daughter.
Until that day we meet again please love her for us, and carry us through this
We thank You and we pray, Amen.
